2015 Best Performing Cities Report
The Madison metro area placed 20th on the Milken's Institute's 2015 Best Performing Cities Index, 10 spots higher than in 2014.  Improving on it's 2014 performance, Madison ranked ninth in the country for one-year wage growth and, over the past five years, has outpaced the nation by 6 percent in this measure.  Madison's overall ranking placed it higher than any other Midwestern metro area on the list.
